A few years ago, a popular song was making its way up the charts. Its central theme was that because you were born a certain way, you had no power to change it, so you should accept who you are. While the song portrayed that everyone was born perfectly, and that God doesn’t make mistakes, the truth is that we have all been born wrong because of Adam’s (and Eve’s) mistake.
Yes. That’s right. Every person on the planet was born wrong. We were born with flaws, bad habits, inherited diseases, and a nature that is contrary to God. In order to reconnect ourselves with God, we must be born again. Jesus stated this plainly to the Pharisee Nicodemus, when he questioned how someone can be with God. Jesus told him plainly:
Jesus answered and said to him, "Most assuredly, I say to you, unless one is born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.”
This is not a religious book but one that is biblically based to show the reader that we all have a need for a savior. That Jesus came and died for each of us so that we may have a relationship with God once again.
